George Molnar is the CEO of Health Insurance Services(HIS). HIS specializes in marketing employee benefit solutions through independent agents and consultants to their clients nationwide. After many years in the computer industry, both in marketing and management roles, George joined HIS in 2003. He has taken his years of experience and devoted his time to understanding healthcare challenges, particularly the issues surrounding retirees. He has developed unique strategies for agents/consultants and their clients. These strategies lower healthcare costs and keep employees and/or retirees healthy. Presently George is recognized as one of the Americas leading authorities and experts in the Group Retiree Market and Medicare. George Molnar graduated with a B.A. from Michigan State University.
Samuel Molnar is the Director of Sales and Business Development at Health Insurance Services. Sam made his first foray into employee benefits at the age of 16 sourcing leads and building an early database system. Sam now focuses on group retiree healthcare and leads our pharmacy product line. He holds a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources and the Environment from the University of Michigan. In his spare time, Sam enjoys leading “Bike and Brew” and architecture tours around the City of Detroit, and spending time hiking throughout the Great Lakes State. Sam lives in Ferndale, MI with his wife Clare and daughter Eloise.
Since January of 2015 Mike has worked with Health Insurance Services to connect with brokers nationwide and educate them on HIS’s unique group Medicare and self-funded active Rx solutions for their clients and prospects.
Henry Zaks began his Insurance Career in 1968 selling employee benefit plans to small businesses in the Milwaukee area. That success was noticed by CEO of Fireman’s Fund Employer and in 1983 he was given the opportunity to market their product (insured and partially self-funded health plans) through Independent Agents. 1988 he Co-Founded Health Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS), as a Regional Sales Office to market fully insured and partially self-funded medical plans for American Medical Security. He helped build Health Insurance Services revenues to over $150,000,000 of annual premium during the late 1990s and early 2000s, managing over 50 employees with nine sales offices in four states. This block of business was purchased by the American Medical Security in 2002. Henry continues to successfully market partially self-funded medical plans for Health Insurance Services; using various National Underwriters and Excess Loss carriers, through independent agents/producers. Henry was educated in Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was drafted in 1964 and served 2 years in the US Army, spending 14 months in Korea. He also served as a board member and president of charitable organizations.
Dayna Zaks joined Health Insurance Services in 2004. She was initially employed as a rate analyst, generating proposals for a variety of employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, etc.). Her duties have been expanded to include new business processing and direct sales support to independent agents and agencies. Dayna has almost 10 years of experience dealing with group retiree Medicare benefits and client services. She is also very involved in supporting the sales process.
Cari Doers joined Health Insurance Services at the end of December 2016. She has been in the Life and Health Insurance industry for over 15 years, marketing and servicing clients, agents and corporate Sales Executives, and is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her duties are supporting the sales process of new and existing business and working directly with agents and agencies.
Rebecca Molnar is the Business Development Specialist at Health Insurance Services. Rebecca specializes in group retiree healthcare and helps brokers bring health care solutions to their clients. Prior to her time at HIS Rebecca was a public school teacher for 10 years in Texas. Rebecca holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University.
Tim works very closely with our broker partners and their small to large clients across the country to design cost-effective strategies and programs that are specifically designed for their client's business and budget. He takes the time to understand his client’s business, simplifying industry jargon into everyday examples that clients can relate to their business. Most importantly to ensure that our broker partners and their clients and prospects are getting the best available products on the market in a transparent way that provides them with efficient and cost-effective coverage under their unique circumstances.
